the calamansi martini
A citrus lovers delight. With the Calamansi lime, Campari and Red orange Italian soda it is sure to please.
CRISPY SKIN ROASTED PORK HOCK
A true peasant dish. Cheaper cuts of meats usually make the best dishes. Slow cooked and well seasoned you must try this classic German dish. Great for these cold days. Accompany with a great Bavarian beer. Cheers and enjoy!
Calamansi cocktail
Straight from our testing bar. I created the Calamansi cocktail.
Great flavor from the addition of the Honeyberry flavored vodka.
Give it a try. Cheers!

PORK BELLY BACON BOURBON BAKED BEANS
The title can be a mouth full but the result was better then expected. Try saying it 3 times fast lol.
The local bacon and the pork belly really gave the dish the balance. Rather then just beans in a sauce. The bourbon flavour was subtle and everything worked together. This recipe definitely entered the clean plate club. Enjoy!
FLANK STEAK
Picked up this beautiful flank steak at our local butchers Brokenhead sausage located in Beausejour. Honestly this was our first attempt at this cut and it turned out tender and cooked to perfection.
pignolata
Pignolata, a southern Italian (Calabrese) desert. Usually made around the holidays. We have fond memories of Nonna making these delicious fried dough balls smothered in honey. Such a treat at Christmas to have. The smells were enchanting in her kitchen. We have recently added this old world recipe to our traditional line of baking and it has now become a staple in our household. We hope you enjoy as much as we have.
Man o’war cocktail
A great holiday cocktail. After starring at the liquor cabinet wondering what to make with the odd assortment of booze this one came to mind. A nice touch on a cold winters day. Cheers!
cast iron deep dish pizza
We cannot take credit for the creation of this recipe. However we can say its absolutely delicious. We can also say that we used as much local ingredients as possible including our own J & A Farms grown dried Basil and parsley. Our own homemade tomato sauce with our own grown tomatoes mixed with the canned marzano tomatoes. The cornmeal, kosher salt and other ingredients purchased at the locally owned store in town. Give it a try and help support local. Enjoy!
