The DELAYS

This year we decided to invest more into our farm. New equipment to help with planting. More repairs and additions to our farm truck. Upgraded water system in the barn. These are only a few things from a long list. We doubled our growing field compared to last year. We exhausted our space within our immediate area. We are not at max and can still expand. However with the reality of Covid delaying the farmers market and scaring people away from direct farm sales it does hurt. Like any business if funds do not flow in to cover the funds that were sent out this can pose issues and delay any further advancements in our farming business.

This has definitely created stress and anxiety as we love what we do and would hate to see it fold up and lost. As a farm we are making decisions to reach outside the farming norm and making new products that one normally doesn’t see come off a farm. We are also shifting gears and hoping to have a commercial product from the produce we grow here on our farm.

So with that said we are hoping for a start and reopening soon and to get back to some type of normal so we can see our awesome customers, friends and fellow farmers.
