been awhile

And were back. Its been awhile since we have blogged here.

Our farmer market season has started. We have transplanted all of our crops and seeded what needed to be seeded. Our watering system is in place and now we just wait patiently for the crops to grow. Ok I think I made that sound to easy lol. We have a lot to do. We have produce that we are harvesting already such as Lettuce, Radishes, herbs, green onions etc.

We continue to de weed certain sections so it doesn’t impede the growth of the plants. The greenhouse needs to be decanted, cleaned and organized. As well we have a lot of land to maintain and a newly planted orchard on the farm that is expanding this year. We have also increased our hen population for meat and eggs. We have introduced Ducks to our farm as well. There is a lot of growth on the farm both in numbers and in self. I hope to post again and expand on some of these new ventures. We hope to see everyone this season at the market.
